Woven Fish
Robinson, Brian

Created for the Esplanade redevelopment in 2003, Brian inadvertently created the visual theme of the Esplanade and one of the most memorable pieces of public art in Australia.

The work consists of five 2.5m high x 1.5m wide stainless steel replicas of the traditional Torres Strait Islander practice of weaving palm leaves into the shape of fish.
