REACH (Regional Excellence in Arts and Culture Hubs)
REACH (Regional Excellence in Arts and Culture Hubs) provides opportunities for students and Young Creatives (16 – 25 years) to participate in Arts Excellence curriculum programs and events that connect them with other REACH students, YCs, educators, industry practitioners and artists throughout the region and throughout Australia.

REACH works to develop relationships between schools and with the wider Arts community, including local and state government, tertiary training institutions, regional arts organizations, industry professionals, arts practitioners and community arts audiences.

This is achieved by improving communication, building partnerships and fostering opportunities for collaboration with local arts organisations and professionals as well as visiting companies; by utilising arts practitioners for Artist-in-Residence experiences; and by increasing opportunities to celebrate and showcase to a range of audiences the successful arts outcomes of our students and Young Creatives.  REACH also works with teachers in the region to provide and support their professional development opportunities.

REACH is funded by Education Queensland and Cairns Regional Council (through RADF - Regional Arts Development Fund).
