Pete is an internationally recognised artist, with art works in Municipal, Corporate and private collections internationally and nationally, and with many awards and accolades to her name. She has travelled extensively to research her subjects - from the Arctic to Antarctica - and donated works to conservation causes including the Jane Goodall Institute Kenya, Cassowary Conservation and Eyes For Africa among many others she has visited along her artistic journey.
Specialising in wildlife and environmental subjects, she has also painted many pets portraits to the delight of their owners. Her artworks are executed in a variety of mediums - but coloured pencil, pastel and charcoal are her favourites.
Originally from Melbourne, Pete is now living in Kewarra Beach, and accepts commissions by arrangement. She also exhibits art works for sale locally, nationally and internationally, and has work available for purchase from her studio. These may be seen on her web site or discussed by contact. From time to time, Pete also conducts workshops for various societies or enterprises and has judged art exhibitions internationally and in Australia.
