National Australia Bank
Places of Significance - Cairns Regional Council

The place is significant as the site of Babinda's local bank since the early twentieth century, and was rebuilt at least twice. The present building, constructed in 1932, contributes to the historic streetscape of Munro Street. It is one of the few surviving early bank buildings in the region. Many of the purpose designed bank buildings of North Queensland constructed prior to the 1950s have been demolished or destroyed.
