Gazir Lagoon is a favourite place for the artists of Erub Island who collaborated on this artwork. They go there to catch white fish, pick shells and swim. Ghost nets are an unwelcome pollution of the sea, but can also be gathered and made into artworks.

Gazir Lagoon was made in 2018 from ghost nets, rope and twine over a steel frame.
