Former Central Hotel
Places of Significance - Cairns Regional Council

The Parkview Hotel is of local significance as a long-standing site of accommodation and refreshment in Gordonvale. Originally on the site of a previous hotel (The Central Hotel), the Parkview dates from around 1927 when it was rebuilt after a fire that destroyed the original. The building was used in the Second World War as a Red Cross Canteen for the US 503 Parachute Regiment.
