Caught in the Net
Garrett, Andrew

"Local Yarrabah people will know when the weather is right to set a net for fishing traditional food sources. Both Yarrabah men and women will walk out from the shoreline during low-tide. We will tie heavy objects (bricks) at either end of the net and set it. We come back on the next tide to check the net and the fresh fish will be still alive to take home and clean up to prepare for eating." (Andrew Garrett)
