Arts Nexus
Growing creative people, communities and industries

Arts Nexus connects artists, creative producers, organisations, enterprises and communities to ensure that the arts industry is a significant partner in the cultural, social and economic development of the region, Queensland and Australia.

We do this by advocating and supporting creative producers and communities with:

  • Building recognition of creative producers and communities by promoting our members’ work to a broader audience
  • Advocating to decision-makers and community leaders on behalf of the creative sector
  • Understanding priorities for the creative sector from two-way dialogue and strategic partnerships

  • Enabling producers and people to make creative projects happen across all art-forms.
  • Supporting all levels of experience; aspiring, emerging, practising, professional and re-emerging.
  • Developing networks, professional business skills and provide pathways to learning through our program of events.

  • Supporting people to live, consume and contribute to culture and enhancing regional liveability
  • Building region-wide community participation in cultural activity
  • Providing innovative solutions for cross-sectoral community cultural development
  • Welcoming everyone, regardless of background and experience

VENUE: Creative community, co-working production hub

Arts Nexus is a non-government, for-purpose, intercultural community based incorporated association. All views and opinions adopted by Arts Nexus are a reflection of the opinions of our representative, regional membership.

LOCATION: Currently we operate from a mobile unit and online.  This allows our team to be responsive across the region, without the expense of a central base.  We are sourcing further investment to continue the ARTS HotDesks at various locations.

If you would like to be a part of this next phase of regional arts delivery, email the team at
