Places of Significance - Cairns Regional Council

The Bryce stores are of historic significance at the local level. The Bryce were a major part of the retail centre of Gordonvale and occupied a central portion of the civic heart. Their three shops and a later fourth took up a long frontage and supplied a lot of the towns needs in terms of hardware, general groceries, drapery and manchester.
